At Northpoint Anesthesia Partners (NAP), we partner with dental offices throughout the New England area to provide on-demand, in-office anesthesia services. We specialize in caring for pediatric patients, individuals with special needs, and patients with severe dental anxiety. From IV sedation to general anesthesia, our experienced team brings hospital-level anesthesia directly to your practice, creating a seamless experience for patients, families, and providers. Dr. Lily Hu is a board certified dental anesthesiologist. This certification represents the highest level of training and expertise that can be achieved in the field of anesthesiology for dentistry. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine Degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed her anesthesia training at Stony Brook University Hospital. This was the only level one trauma center in Suffolk County, New York, where she provided full spectrum of anesthesia care for surgeries ranging from organ transplant to pediatric and adult general surgery. Since 2015, she has been providing office based anesthesia throughout the New England area. Dr. Hu has served as a director for the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. She is currently the Director of Anesthesia and Pain Control at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She contributes regularly to anesthesia publications, directs continuing education courses, and actively lectures on sedation, general anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, and emergency management topics.
